I am so excited because I finally get to blog about this amazing day!!!
Now  those that know me in real life I am actually kind of guarded! Not very sentimental (only when it comes to my lil'family) and the few friends I have, have been with me for as long as I can remember! That's kind of the reason I started this blog, so I can be more open with my feelings and express them in a way that I usually don't do in the day to day! When I first started this blog I remember my sister had started a blog of her own and I would ask her for advice and one day she told me about her friend Danielle 
she was running a blog that she started when she got engaged and she was doing fairly well for us new comers. I read it, and did something I don't normally do... I reached out, I wrote her an email telling her that I enjoyed her writing and if she had any advice and the craziest thing happened... SHE RESPONDED!!! Since then I have followed Danielle on her journey and let me tell you she is freaking awesome! I can honestly call her, dare I say it my FRIEND!

This was over a year ago... we have never met. We just communicate through our blogs, facebook and twitter but I felt as if I have known her my whole life. When she decided to follow her dream of starting her own photography business, I was so excited for her and when she put it out there that she wanted to take free pictures for a limited time to build up her business, I jumped at a chance to finally get some really nice pictures of my family taken and to finally meet my friend in person! I booked our appointment and anxiously waited the day of arrival! I was so happy that she got my ideas and didn't think I was crazy for not wanting to go to Central Park to take a family photo. Now please don't get me wrong I love Central park and photos there look great but we really aren't Central Park people! I don't go there often and I wanted something that spoke more to us and who we are!

When we finally met... it was crazy! We hugged but it was like I was hugging an old friend not like I was meeting someone for the first time! We basically just acted like we knew each other.. well we do that's what I love about these blogs and this forum you do get to know people and they get to know you! I loved letting my friend take pictures of my family and she did such a great job there are so many I want to share with you! I would have to do a post a day! But for now I want to leave you with some of my favorites of our family and then maybe tomorrow I will post some of my favorite shots of my husband and I.
