10 DAY CHALLENGE DAY SEVEN

There was a time before the girls that I actually had time to sit and read a book. I need to try and get back to that. I miss reading books, now most days I just read warning labels, instruction manuals and the last real book I read was the manual for my driving permit!! LOL yes I know it's pitiful but I am rededicating myself to reading! Wonder what book I should read... any suggestions! Here are the four books I picked for this challenge I hope if you guys decide to read any of these books you enjoy them as much as I did!

1. Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice: This is like Twilight on freaking steroids! I actually saw the movie that this book is based on with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, then I read the book and fell in love! This is what vampires are supposed to be! Before Twilight before True blood, there was the vampire called Lestat! Lestat is sexy, intelligent, regal and just utterly amazing. The books that follow the series, like "Queen of the Damned" and "The Vampire Lestat" are as good!

2. The Dirty Girls Social Club by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, think of Sex in the City but everyone one is of Spanish decent! I love stories of woman and their friendships, this is such a fun book, it will make you laugh and cry. I am holding out hope that it will become a movie or a series!

3.Dirty Girls On Top This is part two to The Dirty Girls Social Club, the woman continue to go through life and I just love to follow!!!! I really hope that they turn this book into a movie!

4. The Lovely Bones: I can't even imagine the loss of a child. The journey of this family and this father to find the truth is inspiring this book will make you cry and yell and pull your hair out! If you are a spiritual person you will enjoy the journey of this young lady from the world of the living to the afterlife is so vivid. The movie was good, but like I read the book first, the movie lacked a few details but still great book, good movie!
